What is your favorite dog breed and why?
Border Collies are one of my favourites too. I love the lilac and white, chocolate and white, and the original black and white the best. I love the intelligence, energy and overall look of Border Collies.
My other favourite breed would have to be Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retrievers (Duck Tollers), because they too are intelligent, energetic and beautiful.
Although, it is hard to pick favourites - I love all dogs!
Reply:Border Collies are the smartest dogs in the world. Poodles are the second. Poodles don't have to be all fluffy and have a poodle hair do, but I have a toy poodle, and she is smart, hyper, and really fun. She plays hind and seek and all poodles are hypo allergenic. So they don't shed at all. They don't slober and don't have giant craps. Love to play and run. Really Cute.
Reply:Weimaraner. Watch my puppy in action and you'll understand why! Energetic, cute as anything and very smart.
My second favorite is a Pharaoh Hound (that our girl Isis in the video). They are super intelligent and even smile, blush and talk a lot. Not too many of them around but a great family dog as they really love kids.
The weim may be a bit much for children as it doesn't know it's own size and strength!
Reply:American bulldogs. I have been a huge fan of this breed since I saw the movie "homeward bound" (the 1st movie) and I was only 10 then! hehe. My AB is great. She is great with my 2 very young children and she's also great with my other pets. Very loving dogs they are :)
Reply:my faveorite is the miniature dachshund. they are really nice dogs all around, they are small lap dogs, they can be playful and interjetic, and they are very loyal. My 10 year old dachshund always protects us and my 9 week old puppy is so sweet!!!!
Reply:I don't have a favorite. I love them all. But I'd really like a Standard Poodle and have him cut in that pom pom cut, a gray one. I'd like a Sheltie. I like Collies. I love all dogs.
Reply:I like English Shepherds. They are pretty new..and are basically just an all-around farm dog. They are very pretty dogs. Tricolor is my favorite...but mutts are great too.
Reply:My fav dog is Pomeranian. I have three of them and they are my babies.
Reply:pitbulls because there strong and protect your homes a lot and good with kids and aldults
Reply:shih tzu because they dont shed and they live a long time
Reply:labertor
Reply:My favourite dog breed is the Akita,
They are stunning, smart and loyal.
They are cat-like [no odor, very clean], they are very good guard dogs but once more they do not just bark at everything.
with an akita in your backyard you know you are safe and any burgulars that come in won't know until it is too late that you have a dog.
they are great dogs to walk and if you have a purebreed dog that has great temperament and parents they have a beautiful stance and gait.
They have beautiful big heads and a stylish tail. even young puppies have big heads they look like little bears-

They are energetic but not too much that they try to escape like Siberian Huskies., they are great in cold weather and are extremely easy to house train.
They are great with people but at the same time are very good guard dogs.
They are great pets, very loyal and not much goes wrong with them.
They also aren't too big like St Bernards, westfoundlands or mastiffs, therefore being more active. if you get these dogs [westfoundland, st bernard, mastiff] they can be stubborn and they don't take to too much exercise.
Great Pics of Akitas-
